Hawaii-based Pasha Hawaii, together with Texas-based Keppel AmFELS, today proudly announced the delivery of the MV George III, the first Liquefied Natural Gas (“LNG”) powered vessel to fuel on the West Coast and the first to serve Hawaii. The 774-foot LNG-fueled containership is the first of two new ‘Ohana Class containerships to join Pasha Hawaii’s fleet, serving the Hawaii/Mainland trade lane.

Pasha Hawaii was recognized for consistently making safety a priority at the Chamber of Shipping of America (CSA) Annual Devlin and Safety Achievement Awards on June 30, 2022 in New Orleans. Twenty-four companies attended the event with well over a hundred attendees to celebrate seafarers and companies of 1167 vessels with over 7801 years of operation without a lost time incident.
Pasha Hawai‘i Donates $30K to Boys & Girls Club
Pasha Hawaii has recently donated $30,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of the Big Island (BGCBI) to support the organization’s much needed Nutritional Supplementation “hot meal” program for Hawaii Island’s youth. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, BGCBI delivered a record-breaking 275,000 individual free hot meals over a one-year period to families and keiki in rural communities who were severely impacted by the pandemic, averaging 800-900 meals a day.

Pasha Hawaii Crew Receives USCG Award for Rescuing Downed Pilots
Crew members aboard Pasha Hawaii’s Horizon Reliance cargo vessel received a public service award this morning from Rear Admiral Matthew W. Sibley, Assistant Commandant for Capacity, U.S. Coast Guard, for their successful search and rescue efforts of two pilots, whose aircraft went down in the Pacific Ocean on November 6th. The award was presented to Pasha Hawaii’s Captain Eric Veloni, on behalf of the Horizon Reliance.
Pasha Hawaii and Hawaii Stevedores donate $120,000 to Hawaii Foodbank and Hawai‘i Resilience Fund
In response to the increased needs generated by the COVID-19 crisis in Hawaii, Pasha Hawaii has donated $50,000 to the Hawai‘i Community Foundation’s Hawai‘i Resilience Fund and $50,000 in-kind ocean shipping services to Hawaii Foodbank. The donation was accompanied by a second gift by Pasha Hawaii’s sister company, Hawaii Stevedores, Inc. who pledged $20,000 to Hawaii Foodbank.
